Historic Golf, Now Open to Everyone
Ravisloe Country Club has been part of the Homewood landscape since 1901. Originally established as a private club, Ravisloe has evolved over more than a century while preserving the history, architecture and character that make the property special.
Today, golfers no longer need to belong to a private club to experience it. Ravisloe offers the opportunity to play a historic course shaped by Donald Ross while enjoying the atmosphere and tradition of a classic country club.
A Donald Ross Classic
Designed and reshaped through the influence of famed golf architect Donald Ross, Ravisloe delivers a style of golf built around strategy rather than spectacle. Rolling mounds, deep bunkering and challenging greens give the course the traditional character that has helped it earn recognition among Illinois public courses. The current homepage specifically emphasizes those characteristics and its Golfweek recognition.
